Location-you can walk from the hotel to anywhere in town in 5 minutes. In your bare feet! The breakfast on the sundeck was simply awesome. Made me want cappuccinos every day!

Great location - 30 seconds to Avila Beach and within a minute of restaurants and shops. Great breakfast that was included - I had a great Americano, egg&cheese souffle and a tasty, "real" croissant - most places don't have real croissants, but so very happy that Inn at Avila did it right. Room was clean, nice and generally quiet - we were on the 2nd floor, and could hear the people above us on 3rd floor walking around - not overly loud, but definitely could hear them moving about, but luckily, they went to bed about the same time as us.

Amazing location! Huge room! Super comfy bed with soo many excellent pillows! Gorgeous spa tub and fabulous shower. We just loved our room! The whole building was beautiful, with little gardens and plants all over. The staff was great! Very professional but also friendly and welcoming. Each person we engaged with stood out in some way. And oh my- the breakfast on the sun deck! Delicious food and coffee with the most amazing ocean view! The gentleman running the breakfast was on point- he even ran down to get us a bottle of champagne when we mentioned mimosas! This place is the opposite of a cold, fancy, cookie-cutter hotel. All personality and charm with subtle luxury. By far, favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. We will be back!

We loved Inn at Avila Beach! As others have said (which helped us select the hotel ourselves), the special touches make this a gem of a stay. We took advantage of the breakfast on the sky deck (everything was delicious), the pie and ice cream in the evening, the coffee/tea and snacks throughout the day, and the free bikes and beach gear. We did it all, and we felt completely spoiled. On top of all that, the room was beautiful. We loved the wood paneling and ocean-inspired tile; lovely interior. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the location in Avila Beach was superior. We had an incredible stay and look forward to a repeat visit as soon as possible.

It is really a great location. The 4th floor is an amazing place to hang out. The room had everything we needed. The bed,while it was sort of weird like a captains bed, was super comfortable. The staff was great. Nice little place to make coffee or microwave a snack. Beach chairs and beach bikes you could use.

The view is wonderful, breakfast on the rooftop overlooking the ocean is another wonderful. Bed was very comfortable. Almost forgot they have bikes to ride, chairs and towels for the beach and also sand toys.

This my new favorite hotel! Terrific staff, comfy room, perfect location on the beach in town. Now add complementary fresh-baked pie and ice cream in the evening and an outstanding breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the beach, and what's not to love?

There are rare hotels that go beyond expectations because of imaginative service and facilities. The Inn at Avila Beach is among these, so even though it isn't a super-luxury hotel (for instance, it does not have elevators to the second and third floors), it provides an exceptional experience. A video fireplace and a jacuzzi in every room, free ice cream and popcorn, a beautiful rooftop lounge overlooking the Pacific, a free breakfast on said rooftop lounge with wonderful coffee, croissants and omelets, and an ice cream-and-pie hour from 7:00 to 8:00 PM are examples. The motel is chock full of secret nooks and crannies where you can eat the delicious pie in the evening. A short walk from the beautiful Avila Beach alone makes this a special experience. The owners have wonderful imaginations and aesthetics, and this is a memorable experience that I won't forget soon.

Your service was absolutely amazing! Tori at the front desk was an absolute delight. She was friendly, knowledgable, attentive, organized and sweet as can be. Her attention was the icing on the cake of a great experience. Her presence made us feel special and is part of the reason we will be coming back. The vibe is so eclectic and fun and the included amenities are the icing on the cake.
